Cupra Formentor GT-RP is my vision of a refined yet aggressive widebody evolution of the modern performance SUV.
The goal was to push the balance between elegance and brutality — keeping the recognizable silhouette while enhancing its presence through sharper proportions and motorsport-inspired surfacing.
The body features a fully redesigned widebody kit with extended arches, giving the car a more planted and confident stance while still preserving its small SUV identity. The vehicle is lowered, but intentionally not to an extreme, maintaining a functional and believable posture for real-world driving.
One of the key visual elements is the material contrast. All original plastic components were replaced with high-gloss carbon fiber, introducing a premium technical feel across the entire body.
The color treatment combines a matte bronze-black finish with subtle bronze accent lines, emphasizing the geometry and flow of the surfaces without overwhelming the design.
Details such as the collar-style wheels and precise fitment further reinforce the performance-focused character, while still keeping the overall look clean and controlled.
This project continues my exploration of brutalist automotive CGI — merging clean surfaces, strong proportions, and a bold visual identity.
